The SxS Refrigerator Door Gasket is located on the inner door panel of your freezer and creates a is a new rubber door seal that keeps the warm air out of your refrigerator. If this gasket is worn out, cold air will leak out of the freezer. As a result, the freezer may run longer in an attempt to cool down, or frost may accumulate. Replacing it may alleviate this issues. This white-colored gasket and designed to be used with compatible white side-by-side refrigerators. This is also replaceable with SxS Refrigerator Freezer Door Gasket (item WP12550116Q) which measures 23-3/4" x 31-1/2". To remove any creases or wrinkles from the new gasket, set it in the sun or hot water for a few minutes. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools such as a screwdriver. The replacement process requires no dismantling of the appliance or repair experience. To ensure safety, remember to unplug the appliance or turn off the house circuit breaker for the appliance, and shut off the refrigerator's water supply prior to installing this high-quality and easy-to-install replacement part.
